About Us
Tucked away in a charming village near the historic East Cranmore Railway Station, Cranmore and Doulting Preschool offers a warm, traditional start to early learning.

Since first opening our doors in 1981, we've been dedicated to supporting children in our welcoming and nurturing environment. To find out more about us, keep reading or feel free to get in touch!
Ages 2, 3 & 4 year old Early Years Entitlement funding (EYE) accepted. We also accept the new 30 hour additional funding.

lynn, Dawn and Nick are the fantastic staff at Cranmore and Doulting Preschool. They are supported by a committee of parents and guardians.
Lynn
Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce
Preschool Leader, Safeguarding Deputy, First Aider
Lynn first joined the preschool in 2002, took some time to do childminding, and then rejoined Cranmore & Doulting. Both of her children attended the preschool. She lives locally in Shepton Mallet. Lynn's favourite activity to do with the children is cooking!
Dawn
Level 3 Diploma in Preschool Practice
Preschool Deputy, Safeguarding Lead, First Aider
Dawn joined the team in 2002 when her children started attending the preschool. She lives locally in Dean. Dawn's speciality at the preschool is working on all of the different arts and crafts projects with the children. She loves story time!
Nick
Working towards Level 3 Diploma
Preschool Assistant, SENCO, First Aider
Nick joined us in 2023 when his daughter attended the preschool. He lives locally in Doulting. Nick's favourite activity at preschool are the outdoor activities - the wetter, the better! He can sometimes be spotted wearing a unicorn or dinosaur costume on special preschool occasions!
